Providence Baptist Chapel Rothsay Road, Bedford

Special Meeting - Tuesday 18th June

Is there any Hope?
Tuesday 18th June - 7:30pm

Our world is full of pain, suffering, hardship, grief, addiction, disease, death, wars, and so many other everyday difficulties. In the last 45 years suicide rates have risen by a staggering 60%. It is estimated that at least 10% of the population suffer from depression, with twice as many feeling anxiety about some area of their lives. These are just the figures for those receiving treatment. Most experts believe that many more are suffering in silence. It seems as if people are not just tired of pain, that are tired of pleasure. The atheistic message has robbed multitudes of meaning as well as morality. With all this in mind, many people might ask 'Is there any hope'?

Guest speaker: Robert Cordle
Pastor of Harold and Carlton Grace Baptist Church
